Liên minh Bếp sạch Toàn cầu đã tham dự hội thảo giữa các thành viên nhóm bếp trưởng Chef Corps của Liên minh và bếp trưởng danh tiếng Sanjeev Kapoor để tổng kết hoạt động của câu lạc bộ ẩm thực chuyên môn nhất thế giới, Le Club des Chefs des Chefs, trong khuôn khổ hội nghị tổng kết hàng năm của câu lạc bộ tại Ấn Độ tuần này.
Các bếp trưởng của 18 nhà lãnh đạo thế giới, trong đó có Cristeta Comerford, bếp trưởng của Tổng thống Mỹ Barack Obama; Mark Flanagan, bếp trưởng của Nữ hoàng Elizabeth; và Bernard Vaussion, bếp trưởng của Tổng thống Pháp François Hollande, đã thảo luận vắn tắt với bếp trưởng Kapoor và đại diện Liên minh về những tác động của nấu ăn tại Ấn Độ, quốc gia có hơn 1 triệu người chết mỗi năm vì ô nhiễm không khí gia đình.
Tại một buổi trình diễn tư nhân tại Khách sạn Delhi’s Imperial Hotel, các bếp trưởng học hỏi về việc sử dụng bền vững các bếp và nhiên liệu sạch đã cứu sống, cải thiện đời sống, nâng cao năng lực phụ nữ, và bảo vệ môi trường như thế nào. Các đối tác được Liên minh hỗ trợ, trong đó có BioLite, Envirofit, và Greenway, đã trình diễn một loạt bếp và nhiên liệu sạch sáng tạo, giúp các bếp trưởng có cơ hội tận mắt thấy cách các công nghệ nấu ăn giúp xử lý cuộc khủng hoảng toàn cầu này này.
Bếp trưởng Sanjeev Kapoor, gương mặt nổi bật nhất của ẩm thực Ấn Độ ngày nay, cùng với Giám đốc khu vực của Liên minh, Arijit Basu và Đại diện quốc gia tại Ấn Độ Supriya Kumar, đã chủ trì hội thảo tổng kết hoạt động cho câu lạc bộ Le Club des Chefs des Chefs. Các bếp trưởng gặp gỡ hàng năm từ khi câu lạc bộ được thành lập tại Paris năm 1977, và đây là lần đầu họ tụ họp tại Ấn Độ.

The Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves joined Alliance Chef Corps member and renowned Chef Sanjeev Kapoor to brief the world’s most exclusive gastronomic society, Le Club des Chefs des Chefs, as part of the group’s annual conference in India this week.
The personal chefs to 18 world leaders, including Cristeta Comerford, chef to U.S. President Barack Obama; Mark Flanagan, chef to Queen Elizabeth; and Bernard Vaussion, executive chef to French President François Hollande, were briefed by Chef Kapoor and the Alliance on the impacts of cooking in India, a country where more than one million people die each year from household air pollution.
At a private demonstration held at Delhi’s Imperial Hotel, the chefs learned how sustained use of clean cookstoves and fuels can save lives, improve livelihoods, empower women, and protect the environment. Local Alliance-supported partners, including BioLite, Envirofit, and Greenway, showcased a range of innovative cookstoves and fuels, giving the chefs the opportunity to see first-hand how cooking technologies can help address this global crisis.
Chef Sanjeev Kapoor, the most celebrated face of Indian cuisine today, along with Alliance Regional Director, Arijit Basu and India Country Representative Supriya Kumar, hosted the briefing for Le Club des Chefs des Chefs. The chefs have met annually since the club was first established in Paris in 1977, and this was the first time they gathered in India.
